It is easy to do!  In fact you can find everything that you need in the craft supplies you already have on hand.  The possibilities are endless.  Here are a few ideas to get you started.

Frames that Sparkle

For this fun variety all you need is something small and sparkly with which to decorate.  Look for something like glitter, small beads, sequins or rhinestones, what ever you have on hand.  If you are using the glitter or beads you need to coat the frame with a spray adhesive.  Then hold it over a container to catch the excess and dump away.  Keep pouring the glitter over the frame again and again until it has a solid coat.  Then place the frame in a safe place to dry.  If you are using the larger sequins or rhinestones then make small dots of glue to hold them in place.  Again, you want a cool dry place for the frame to dry.

Frames with Personality

For this type of frame the first thing that you need to do is think about the person you are making it for.  What do they like?  Then find some stickers or quotes that fit the bill.  Get together several pieces and arrange them on the frame in a scrapbook like fashion.  For example if they are a basketball fan then you can cover the frame in basketball related pieces and then fill it with a picture of the person playing basketball. 

Use these two ideas, as a starting point and then the sky is the limit.  This is a fun way to make one man’s trash another man’s treasure.  Look around an just see what you can come up with on your own!
