Materials Needed:

  • Light Weight Cotton yarn.
  • One 50 gr ball of Cotton
  • No 5 or your choice for weight of doily.
  • (White or your choice of color). Crochet Hook size B. 
  • Snowman
  • Directions
  • Chain 8 join with sl st to form ring
  • Round 1: 35 sc in ring, join with sl st to first st.
  • Round 2: ch 2, 35 dc inserting hook through back thread of the sts of the first round, join with sl st to first dc.
  • Round 3: 1 sc in the back thread of each dc, join with sl st to first st.
  • Round 4: Ch 4, 1 dbl tr in the back thread of each st and ch 1 between each dbl tr, join with sl st to 3rd ch of ch-4.
  • Round 5: 1 hdc in the back thread of each st, join with sl st to first hd.
  • Round 6: *ch 9, skip 3 sts, 1 sc inserting hook through the 2 top sts of next st, rep from * around (18 times)
  • Round 7: 9 sc in each ch-9 space; at the end of round join with sl st to each of the 4 first sts.
  • Round 8: 1 sc in next st*ch 11, 1 sc in the 5th sc of each arc, rep from * around.
  • Round 9: 11 sc in each arc around.
  • Work 3 more rounds of arcs same as previous rounds, working 2 more chains per arc on each even rounds and 2 more sc per arc on each odd rounds.
  • On the last round of sc, work a picot in center of each are. *9sc, ch5, sl st in top st of the 9th sc, 8sc*, rrep. from * to * around. At the end of round, join with sl st to first st. Fasten off.
